Bayley Mizelle | Director of Programming and Communications
In addition to her work in contemporary art and arts education in the fields of writing, photography, pedagogy, and studio practice, Bayley has a background co-producing and curating events and exhibitions within the visual arts; working with galleries, project spaces, arts institutions and artist studios throughout Los Angeles and abroad. In previous roles she has partnered with institutions and organizations such as The Lucie Foundation for Month of Photography LA and CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP), and others. She was a grantee of the Citizen Artist AmeriCorps (CAA) Teaching Fellow Grant & Excellence in Education Award–through which she developed and taught arts educational programming in photography and creative writing for underserved youth programs based in inner city Los Angeles.
Bayley received a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Photography and Media with a Minor in Critical Studies for Creative Writing from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
