This video follows an exhibition walkthrough and subsequent 19-mile bike tour of LADWP infrastructure in and around Downtown Los Angeles. Co-hosted with Hunter Boengstrum (@infrastructure.la), the tour examines how the city's physical footprint has been shaped by LADWP and the elemental forces of water and electricity.
ABOUT:
Brandon Tauszik is a photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His work focuses on the structures, subcultures, and contradictions that shape contemporary American life, often developed through long-term, multimedia projects that combine photography, video, and emerging formats.
Hunter Boengstrum is an artist, urban planner, and founder of the Los Angeles Bureau of Infrastructure Inspections. Working car-free in LA, he organizes group rides investigating urban systems. His work has been presented by LAND, Clockshop, and François Ghebaly.
