PAC•LA announces an online workshop exploring the soul-reaching beauty and strength of photographic portraits moderated by Dr. Andrea Liss, Professor Emerita of Visual Culture in the School of Arts, California State University San Marcos. Liss is the author of Feminist Art and the Maternal and Trespassing through Shadows: Memory, Photography and the Holocaust and publishes extensively on contemporary photography.
Workshop participants discuss a portrait of your choice and write one page about what entrances you about it and share responses. RSVP and image-text submissions must be received by May 2 in order to participate
