A roundtable discussion with Cig Harvey, Paul Kopeikin, and W.M. Hunt, discussing concepts of photographic beauty and sensory experience within the context of Harvey’s work, in both print and book form, as well as recent outdoor projections of her work.

Cig Harvey is an artist whose practice seeks to find the magical in everyday life. Rich in implied narrative, Harvey’s work is deeply rooted in the natural environment, and offers explorations of belonging and familial relationships.

Her work has been reviewed and featured in The New York Times, BBC, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, Vice, The Sunday Times, The Independent, Marie Claire Italia, and New York Magazine. Cig's new book, Blue Violet, a collection of photographs, drawings and text, will be released this spring.

Paul Kopeikin founded Kopeikin Gallery in 1991. An internationally recognized gallery of photography and contemporary art in Los Angeles, Kopeikin Gallery is committed to developing and building collections, and in addition to ongoing gallery exhibitions, the gallery participates in art fairs both nationally and internationally.

W.M. Hunt is a photography collector, curator and consultant who lives and works in New York. Hunt has been looking at and talking about photography for over 40 years. He was founding partner of the gallery Hasted Hunt; he teaches at the School of Visual Arts, Aperture, and ICP; and he has served on the boards of Photographers + Friends United Against AIDS, AIPAD, The Center for Photography at Woodstock and the W.
